What gets LIVE access removed
- Guideline violations during a stream, including unsafe, misleading, or adult content.
- Streaming other people's content or copyrighted material.
- Buying followers or engagement, or gift manipulation schemes.
- Repeated reports from viewers, even when individual strikes seem minor.
If you are banned or monetization stops
Appeal in the app first and keep the case number. Do not create a second account to route around a restriction, since that can extend the problem. Where a creator is part of an official partner network, the network can escalate account and monetization issues directly with TikTok, which is often the difference between a two-day fix and a dead end.
Keeping monetization healthy
- Stream long enough to build retention rather than repeatedly starting and stopping.
- Keep a consistent category so the platform understands who to show you to.
- Moderate your comments, and appoint trusted moderators as you grow.
- Track your own numbers weekly so you notice a drop before it becomes a trend.
